Position Reports to: Line Service Manager / Airport Manager
Location: North Iowa Air Service in Charles City
Salary: $15 / hour (negotiable)

Charles City Aeronautics, Inc. d/b/a Central Iowa Air Service and North Iowa Air Service, is currently seeking 1 full-time line service person at the Northeast Iowa Regional Airport in Charles City.

Primary Objective:
• Be the first face of the company as airplanes come into the Northeast Iowa Regional Airport
• Represent the company in a professional manner
• Maintain high level of standards

Essential Job Functions:
• Fuel aircraft using jet fuel / AV gas
• Parking of aircraft / greeting of customers and passengers
• Moving of aircraft using towing equipment and by hand
• Snow removal (using plow equipment and shovels) and lawn maintenance
• Detail aircraft for charter flights
• General janitorial work
• Additional responsibilities as they come up

Requirements of this job include:
• High school diploma or current high school student
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass random drug screening
• Regular lifting of 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, sitting, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing

Skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician for our Facilities Team - pay ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience
 

Soifer Family McDonald's has been in business in Northeast lowa since 1978 and is hiring an additional Skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician for our Facilities Team. We are offering top of the line pay ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience, plus bonus for the right candidate. The ideal candidate for this position will possess skills and experience in the following areas:

• Refrigeration Experience with Kitchen Equipment and Repair (examples Taylor, Garland, FryMaster, Henny Penny, Manitowoc, Multiplex)

• HVAC

• Universal EPA Certification

• Minor Plumbing/Electrical Repair

• Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs

• Ability to communicate with Facilities Supervisor daily

• Ability to use a cellphone and laptop

• Ability to lift 50 Ibs. and climb a ladder

• Must have a valid driver's license

This is a full-time position with an attractive benefits package (including family insurance coverage), company match 401K, and vacation. We provide a work vehicle, cellphone, laptop, all necessary tools, work clothing allowance, free meals while you work and any necessary training. This position will report directly to our existing Facilities Supervisor.

We are looking for an experienced candidate, but if certification on specific brands of restaurant equipment is needed, Soifer Family McDonald's will pay for all training and any required travel. We are looking to hire quickly for this position; the application period will close on July 31, 2026.

This position will work at multiple locations in NE lowa including in and around the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Metro area.

The ideal candidate should live within a 1-hour drive from the Waterloo metro area or be willing to relocate. This position requires both preventive and repair maintenance and the ideal candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned PM as well as diagnose issues and complete repairs.
